Spotlight: Off the Hook Teen Events- TSE 2011
The Kickoff event at TSE was: Off The Hook Teen Events. Wow what can I say the event was spectacular to say the least! Those that did not attend missed a overload of all things teen! This was the first year that this event took place and it tapped into teen events which is rarley ever seen as a lucrative market. There were four distinct areas: Bar/Bat Mitvah, Princess Quincenera, Arabian Nights Sweet 16 and Ultra Lounge Prom.

The Special Event Show 2011 Edition-Phoenix, Az
Whew! I finally made it back from The Special Event Show. We had a great time, made alot of new friends, saw alot of new ideas and poducts, had some delicious food.
The Special Event Show was held January 25-28, 2011 in Phoenix, AZ ( Valley of the Sun) although it was so cold i had to bribe one of my friends to take me to Walmart to buy a coat because it was soooo cold. By the way that was the biggest Walmar i have ever seen in my life lol.
The Special Event Show as its name implies is a tradeshow that is geared towards special event planners, meeting planners and vendors. During the tradeshow you can take classes, volunteer with the HOH -hands on hundred, attend showcasing events (which i will be blogging about in a seperate post), participate in a community service project, visit the tradeshow to see new vendors and purchase items if you wish.
If you are interested in attending next year it will be held in TAMPA, FL (yea for the sun!!! hopefully anyway I seem to attract cold weather so im still packing my coat lol). Please visit http://www.thespecialeventshow.com/.
Wait no longer here is the good part lots of pics of TSE.

Christmas Gift # 2 Event/ Meeting Planners would LUV

Notebooks make great gifts also! I use these to take notes, sketch, write down directions, etc.: I particularly like Paperchase notebooks because they come in funky patterns and colors. I usually purchase Paperchase notebooks from Borders Bookstore or http://www.paperchase.co.uk/. (photo: Paperchase,Bold Circle notebook).

Christmas Gift # 1 Event/ Meeting Planners would LUV!
I was perusing another blog and it talked about Christmas gifts for that special someone well I thought I would put a spin on that and blog about Christmas items I'm sure any Event/Meeting Planner ( well me anyway lol) would love for Santa to bring them.
My # 1 gift would be an Ipad. I have not fully bought the whole Apple craze but I'm slowly falling in love with the Ipad every time i see one of my friends or colleague's with it. I'm slowly stepping in that direction to purchase one but it would be nice if Santa brought it to me. Hint Hint :). Anywho I guess there's nothing wrong with dreaming. I can think of a slew of things i can do with it (i.e. blog, presentations, read magazines/ books during downtime, play movies, email, etc).
Check out the different models on www.apple.com/ipad.
